I invested in a Jack Canfield Success Coaching program this year. It's an 18 month program, and so far it's been a lot of reading assignments that get me all fired up, a ton of homework about defining my vision for my life, listing a bunch of goals, breaking those goals down and mapping out all the small steps that go into those goals, and conference calls to talk about those goals and share victories and defeats.
And let me tell you what. I like writing out my vision and goals, but mapping them into doable steps terrifies me. Because when they're doable, that means I actually have to do them. Which means I might actually start working towards my goals, which terrify me. You know what else is terrifying? Telling the other people on the conference call about my goals.
What if my goals are lame? What if I'm being stupid? What if they're impossible? What if they're too easy? What if they're not what I actually want?
UGH.
I'm looking for some love here.
Kthanksbye.

Take some love from me! Take all the love! Love from your cousin.
Goals are the worst, but for people like you that are smart and funny and capable, they're just stepping stones. You got this.
